Home About the Guide Awards & Commendations Benefit Auction Quotes & Comments Sponsors Women's Resource Committee PO Box 600381 San Diego.CA.92160 619.516.3266 womensguide@hotmail.com	California State Assembly Resolution Presented by Assemblyman Howard Kaloogian WHEREAS, the Women's Resource Committee of San Diego County is announcing their expansion onto the Internet with the creation of the Women's Resource Guide Website located at www.wrg.org; and WHEREAS, the Women's Resource Committee of San Diego County is providing the Women's Resource Guide as a directory of support services for women whose motto is "Helping Women Help Themselves"; and WHEREAS, the Women's Resource Committee of San Diego County Website gives women the opportunity to research online Emergency Hotlines, Medical Care, Housing, Legal Assistance, Pregnancy Education, Childcare Preparation, Financial Assistance, Child Care Facilities, Counseling, Domestic Violence Assistance, Military Family Resources, Continuing Education and College Options; and WHEREAS, the Women's Resource Committee of San Diego County exemplifies the best goals and ideals of public and community service in their commitment to providing a safe and healthy community; NOW THEREFORE, RESOLVED by Assemblyman Howard Kaloogian, that on this 1st day of May 2000, he commends the Women's Resource Committee of San Diego County for outstanding service, leadership, and commitment to the San Diego community and the general well-being of area residents, and, in honor of its many achievements, recognizes this day to be "Women's Resource Committee of San Diego County Day" throughout San Diego County.
